Job Brief
Wizpresso is now hiring for our Summer 2026 internship program! Whether you're in your first, penultimate, or final year of university, we're seeking smart, ambitious talent to join us. As a Software Engineering Intern, you'll work with our engineering teams to implement pre-rendered front-end designs with backend systems and internal APIs, while expanding our SaaS platforms' integration capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the development team to integrate pre-rendered front-end designs (e.g., Vue.js) with backend systems and internal APIs.
• Assist in developing and optimizing RESTful APIs to connect front-end interfaces with server-side logic and data sources.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, focusing on seamless integration of UI designs with backend functionalities.
• Enhance system integration capabilities by building connectors for third-party APIs, databases, and external services.
• Work with front-end developers to ensure pre-rendered designs are responsive, performant, and aligned with user experience goals.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to streamline data flows between internal systems and client-facing applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring robust connectivity between front-end, backend, and external platforms.
• Contribute to the expansion of integration features, such as real-time data syncing or automated workflows, for tools like Adnoto, Diligence, and Factify.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain consistency and quality across front-end and backend implementations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and refine integration solutions based on user feedback.
• Stay updated on best practices in API development, front-end rendering, and system interoperability.
• Document API endpoints, integration workflows, and technical specifications for team and stakeholder use.
• Assist in creating developer guides and technical documentation to support system maintenance and onboarding.
• Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and agile processes to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
• Uphold coding standards and contribute to reusable, scalable integration frameworks.

What We're Looking For

• Enrolled in a STEM-related bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• Eligible for the STEM Internship Scheme https://www.itf.gov.hk/en/support-measures/stem-internship-scheme/index.html
• Available for a three (3) month internship in Summer 2026 (June–August), eligible for up to 90 days under the STEM internship program.
• Proficient in one or more of the following: JavaScript (Vue.js preferred), Python, Node.js, or C#.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration (e.g., Express, Flask, or similar frameworks).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
• Understanding of backend integration with databases (e.g., SQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex system interactions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail in delivering clean, efficient code.
• Knowledge of SaaS architectures or financial/legal tech workflows is a plus.
